The Book of Everything at Castle Hill

The Book of Everything at Castle Hill

The Book of Everything at The Pavilion Theatre, castle Hil, NSW oplays from Friday 31 March to Saturday 22 April 2017

Adapted by Richard Tulloch, from the novel by Guus Kuijer, Castle Hill Players production is directed by Carol Wimmer.

Thomas is nine, nearly ten and he's started writing a book.  His father says all important books are about God.  Even so, Thomas writes down all the interesting things he sees that other people seem to ignore:  tropical fish in the canal, a deluge of frogs, the Son of God popping in for a chat.....  He also writes down his greatest determination - when I grow up, I'm going to be happy!  Featuring Jesus, the angels, the Bumbiter, the startling Mrs. van Amersfoort and a beautiful girl with a leather leg, this is theatre of image at its best.  Based on a children's book, this play will remind us all that life is challenging but courage and love bring hope and happiness.

The Pavilion Theatre is located in Castle Hill Showground (enter via lights on Showground Road between Gilbert and Carrington Roads, Castle Hill).
