Cabaret Showcase Winner Stars in Brisbane Company

You may not know the name yet, but Brisbane singer/songwriter Bradley McCaw is certainly one to keep an eye on.  With an impressive resume behind him, McCaw is set to lead a cast of local performers in Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical, COMPANY in June.

The singer/actor/songwriter/playwright/composer toured the world with the internationally famed group, The Ten Tenors.  Constantly writing, he premiered his musical, Becoming Bill at the Judith Wright Centre in 2010, and won the 2011 Young Emerging Playwrights Award from the Queensland Theatre Company with his musical In Good Company.

Most recently, McCaw won the 2012 International Cabaret Showcase with his one-man show, Cabaret: The Complete Unauthorised Biography, which premiered at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, then toured through Noosa, Brisbane Cabaret Festival, Ballarat & Melbourne Cabaret Festival before crossing the globe to perform at the New York Theatre Festival on 42nd Street.

Back in Brisbane, McCaw will undertake the lead role of Bobby in COMPANY at the Roundhouse Theatre, supported by a cast of 13 performers and a 14-piece live band.
