Constellations at Lane Cove Theatre

Constellations, the award-winning play by British writer Nick Payne (Incognito, Wanderlust, The Art of Dying), which has played both in the West End and on Broadway, is the next production of Lane Cove Theatre Company. It plays to the Performance Space at St Aidan’s, Longueville from 19 to 28 August, 2022.

A community theatre on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is blessed with loads of sunshine and the patronage of Australia’s most successful playwright.

David Williamson famously travelled north from Sydney and Melbourne to the Queensland resort town for better weather and fewer distractions.

Not only is David the patron of the Noosa Arts Theatre – which owns the 100 seat theatre which stages plays, musicals and a One Act Play Festival – his NIDA trained sons get involved in productions.

Following the heartbreak of Covid cancellations, Geelong theatre company CentreStage is bursting back into the theatre with a production of Les Misérables. 

In March 2020, CentreStage was set for a successful season of West Side Story which was earmarked to be the final production in the Geelong Performing Arts Centre before it was demolished and rebuilt.

Like the rest of the world, things came to a shattering halt.

Backwards Broadway at Willoughby Theatre Company

Willoughby Theatre Company (WTC) is flipping the script through song in May 2022 with a showcase of some of Broadway's biggest showtunes performed like they’ve never been before. 

Backwards Broadway sees WTC return to The Concourse Theatre stage for the first time since last year's Pricilla; Queen of the Desert and will mark the start of celebrations for the company’s 65th Anniversary. 

Exit Laughing at Arts Theatre

Arts Theatre Cronulla’s second production for 2022 opens on Friday, May 6, 2022. Exit Laughing is both an adult-themed comedy with some laugh-out-loud moments, as well as a portrayal of loss with some poignant moments.

Connie, Leona and Millie are three southern ladies from Birmingham, Alabama, who gather for their first monthly card game since their dear friend Mary has died. To their initial horror, they find that Mary’s ashes have been “borrowed” and the urn has been brought to the gathering.

Mystery, Murder and Intrigue at The Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill
