Frankenstein Born Again In Adelaide

2018 marks two hundred years since Mary Shelley’s iconic novel Frankenstein was first published. It is also the year Adelaide audiences will experience for the first time a production of Nick Dear’s recent and critically acclaimed adaptation for theatre of this story of hostility, prejudice and social injustice. Dogfight Musical at Bankstown Theatre Company

Written by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek, the same writers of the Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen, Dogfight is set in 1963, beginning on the eve of three young recruits’ deployment to a growing conflict in Southeast Asia. On their final night of debauchery, partying and trouble-making, Corporal Eddie Birdlace (Stefan Jamal), angry and inexperienced, meets unsuspecting, trusting, and idealistic waitress Rose Fenny (Tanya Boyle) and enlists her to win an unkind bet with his fellow recruits. But Rose turns out to be far more than Eddie bargained for.

Disney's Mulan Jr for Phoenix Theatre

Phoenix Theatre (WA) will host the beloved Disney classic Mulan Jr at Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall in March 2018.  Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor!

Hunters Hill Theatre (HHT) are celebrating the launch of their 2018 season with the Sydney Amateur Premier of a play based on P.G. Wodehouse’s Jeeves and Wooster novels.

Little Women Musical for North Shore

Louisa May Alcott's Civil War classic novel comes to life on stage in the musical Little Women from 20 to 28 April at The Independent Theatre, North Sydney.

It will be the first musical for Chatswood Musical Society since the company changed itsname to North Shore Theatre Company.
