Everyone wants a little bit of FAME!

Everyone wants a little bit of FAME!

Imagine yourself standing centre stage, a single spot light, a silent crowd of thousands. You sing a heart squeezing, wicked, poignant song and the crowd leaps to their feet. This is the dream so many young children and adults have. This is FAME.

More than just a word to describe the filthy rich, FAME is the yearning to be heard, seen and accomplished on stage and in the creative world. Whether it’s dancing, acting, singing as an amateur or professional, every creative pursues a fleeting minute of FAME.

Recently celebrating a successful 25th anniversary, recent SQUIDS Theatrical productions include Annie and AIDA at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre in 2013.

With over 40 performers and production crew, Squids are hungry for FAME and the ‘Hard Work’ ahead of them in producing 21 high-energy singing and dancing numbers.

Nathaniel Currie, producer of FAME, said “This is an opportunity for our spectacular talent to have their minute of FAME and for our audiences to be part of a moment so special.”

The production team responsible for collating the outstanding amount of talent for the show is Shane McLennan as Director, alongside Julie Whiting as Musical Director and Reuben Limmer as Choreographer.

Fame opens at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Friday 9th May with 8 performances over 2 weeks. Bookings www.squids.org.au/fame
