Gold Coast Theatre Alliance Talent Search
In planning for the future of theatre on the Gold Coast, the Theatre Alliance will precede their 2015 Season Launch with a Talent Search at the Helensvale Community Centre on the 1st and 2nd November 2014.
The adjudicators are Industry Professionals Deborah Leigh-Russell, Claudine and James Anderson and Stage Whispers is pleased to be sponsoring one of the sections.
Alliance Secretary, Annie Lotoki, revealed “that under the title of BreaKaLeg – the aim is to find the most fabulous Community Entertainers on the Gold Coast. Performing Artists will be invited to enter the contest as individuals and groups in a variety of live performance genres with fabulous prizes worth over $2000 being offered.”
The two day weekend event in November will culminate with a dinner and exciting entertainment on the Sunday Night at the Sharks Events Centre where winners will be announced, prizes presented by sponsors and the Gold Coast Theatre Alliance will launch over 100 seasons of its 36 members for 2015. Daniel Mallari, renowned Gold Coast performer and Mo nominee will be the Guest Entertainer and Gregory Brown the MC.
