In 1992, internationally acclaimed director Baz Luhrmann wrote and directed Strictly Ballroom, which became an Australian iconic classic and a worldwide movie phenomenon.

Told with charm, humour, razzle dazzle and a true Australian larrikin spirit, Strictly Ballroom is the story of Scott Hastings, a championship ballroom dancer who defies all the rules and follows his heart, in the process finding not only his true calling but also his true love.

Farce Sequel at Limelight

A SEQUEL to the farce Run For Your Wife is set to make audiences at Limelight Theatre (WA) cry with laughter all over again in May 2018.

Written by master-of-farce Ray Cooney and directed by 50-year theatre veteran Susan Vincent, Caught in the Net is set 18 years later with taxi driver John Smith still a bigamist.

He keeps his two families in different parts of London, both happy and blissfully unaware of each other.

Little Shop Devours Rockdale

Beware Earthlings! The cult musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors is heading to Rockdale Town Hall for 1 week only, landing in Sydney on Wednesday 30 May for only 6 performances.

The Anniversary at Marloo Theatre
