Rotorua HAIR Makes Musical Love NOT War

Rotorua HAIR Makes Musical Love NOT War

Tickets for the Rotorua Musical Theatre’s first production of 2014, HAIR, are selling fast!

Director Richard Marshall says “We have so far sold over 50% of all tickets.  With opening night this coming Friday anyone thinking about buying tickets needs to book their tickets now, to avoid missing this psychedelic production”.

HAIR, the American tribal love-rock musical that popularized the spirit of the 1960's, awakens from its bell-bottomed, tie-dyed time capsule to bring its message of freedom, peace and love to Rotorua this year.

The story of a group of young Americans searching for love and peace during the Vietnam era, HAIR is a timeless portrait of a movement that changed the world. Its groundbreaking rock score paved the way for some of the greatest musicals of our time.

HAIR features songs including Aquarius, Let the Sun Shine In, Good Morning, Starshine and Easy to be Hard.

HAIR won the 2009 Tony Award® for Best Musical Revival on Broadway where it also received the Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical.

Tickets can be purchased from the Ticketmaster box office located inside the foyer of the Rotorua Convention Centre, Fenton Street, Rotorua or online at www.ticketmaster.co.nz.

HAIR is being produced from Friday 16th May 2014 for a strictly limited season at Casa Blanca Theatre, Riri Street, Rotorua.
