Songs Back to the Eras

Set in different eras, from the 1950s to the 1990s, with songs from Patsy Cline, Elton  John, The Rolling Stones, Whitney Hoston and more, Songs Back to the Eras  is written and directed by Michael Brealey, a 17 year old with a passion for musical theatre and storytelling. He has gained a diploma in musical theatre and is working towards to go to uni to study a Bachelor of creative arts majoring in Drama and Music.

Michael describes the show: “The production is set in different eras. We start of Down town in the poor days. Each family is telling their story. Sandy wants to audition for a new stage musical but her stepmother wont let her. She is very strict. The next family is into everything full of colour and love to dance and sing. The 1990s family is into everything sporty and technology, but their daughter wants to be up on stage performing. Towards the end the families come together at Christmas time and they get a surprise from someone special - who will it be.”
