Three Days of Rumours at Holroyd

Three Days of Rumours at Holroyd

Neil Simon’s Rumors plays at Holroyd Musical and Dramatic Society (NSW) for three days only from 6-8 August.

Four couples of an anniversary dinner party for the deputy mayor of New York are shocked to find the host has shot himself, his wife is nowhere to be found and the kitchen staff has disappeared. The guest’s then work together to find out what exactly has gone on. Why do the couples not just call the police? Well, the host is the deputy mayor of New York and the guests are all either aspiring politicians or businessmen connected with the host and for whom a scandal could prove disastrous. What follows is an evening of continuous rumors and mistaken identity.

The show opens on Thursday 6thAugust at 8pm with a special $20 per ticket offer.

School groups are welcome to attend the Friday morning performance at 11am followed by a Q&A session after the show with the actors and director.

Rumors runs just under 120 minutes with a 20 minute interval.
