Theatre legends Nancye Hayes and Simon Gallaher lead a star studded list of speakers and tutors for seventh state conference of community theatre to be held at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney on July 24 and July 25.

The Association of Community Theatre is excited to announce details of the conference for performers, producers, directors and back stage workers.

The highlights include a dance lesson from legendary choreographer, director and actress Nancye Hayes O.A.M. the patron of A.C.T.

The keynote speech and a seminar on auditioning for a musical will be lead by theatrical star and producer Simon Gallaher.

Other seminars from NIDA lecturers and community theatre leaders include topics ranging from Make Up, Stage Combat, Lighting Design, Production Management, Copyright, Making Props, Public Relations, Accents, Shakespeare, Directing a Play or Musical and Stage Safety.

For members of A.C.T the conference costs just $120 including dinner and lunches.
