David Venn Enterprises (Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical, The Wedding Singer, Bring It On: The Musical) has announced the cast and creative team for the professional premiere of Elvis: A Musical Revolution.
Elvis: A Musical Revolution is a new bio-musical exploring the extraordinary life of award-winning cultural icon and rock ‘n’ roll superstar, Elvis Presley, authorised by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
There is an Australian connection to the Tony Awards this year, with Jodie Comer winning Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her role in the one woman play Prima Facie, written by Australian playwright Suzie Miller.
Prima Facie was not nomimated in the Best Play category itself despite winning the Laurence Oliver award for Best Play in London.

On behalf of his co-producers Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone, John Frost for Crossroads Live announced the lead cast in the Broadway Blockbuster musical WICKED, which flies into Australia’s Emerald City at the Sydney Lyric from 25 August.
