ADELAIDE FESTIVAL OF ARTS 2015 PROGRAM

Lesley Reed reports on the launch of the 2015 Adelaide Festival program.

Twenty-two Australian premieres and twenty-six events that are exclusive to Adelaide will feature in the 2015 Adelaide Festival program in which forty-two music, theatre, dance and visual arts events will be staged side by side with Adelaide Writers’ Week, from February 27 through to March 15.

PASSION: Rarely Performed Pivotal Scene for Melbourne Production

Reaching The Rob Guest Endowment Finals

John Bell to Leave Bell Shakespeare in 2015

Coinciding with Bell Shakespeare's 25th anniversary, Founder and Artistic Director, John Bell will leave the company, handing over the reigns to Artistic Director Peter Evans at the end of 2015.

"By the end of 2015 I will have led the company I founded for twenty five years. This coincides with my seventy fifth birthday. It seems to me to be the perfect time to step aside and hand over the reins to my Co-Artistic Director, Peter Evans," said John Bell AO, Founder & Artistic Director.

Black Swan State Theatre Company 2015 Season

Black Swan State Theatre Company’s 2015 season contains a mix of classics, comedies, a new Australian work, a musical and a family production. The year begins with Venus In Fur by David Ives as part of the FRINGE WORLD Festival, followed by Dinner by Moira Buffini, Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet and Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit.

LIGHT THE NIGHT 2014 PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED

More performers have been announced to take part in the 10th and final LIGHT THE NIGHT. The concert, which raises much needed funds for The Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation, will be hosted by ‘international musical therapist and hilarious YouTube sensation’, Jan van de Stool and will be held atthe City Recital Hall Angel Place on Monday October 27.
