Melbourne Fringe Festival 2020 Program Launched

In the year of the impossible, Melbourne Fringe Festival will deliver a festival full of weird, wonderful, thought-provoking and boundary-pushing art.

Premiere Season of Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike Live

Magic Mike Live will have its Australian Premiere in Sydney from Thursday 17 December at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.  This Premiere season will be the first production around the world to return to the stage after international lockdown. 

Moulin Rouge! Scores 14 Tony Nominations

In a landmark moment for Australian theatrical producers Global Creatures, Moulin Rouge! The Musical has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards which were announced overnight in New York. Based on Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 Australian film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is the first Australian-produced musical to originate on Broadway.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical received 14 nominations across 13 categories:

Hamilton Australian Cast EXCLUSIVE Speculation

With just five months until the musical blockbuster Hamilton opens in Australia, Stage Whispers correspondent David Spicer is sticking his neck out to take “one shot” at predicting who might be in the cast.

Trevor Ashley Returns as Liza in Ring Them Bells!

Sydneysiders are promised a Christmas treat when Trevor Ashley returns to the stage at Paddo RSL, performing Ring Them Bells! A Very Liza Xmas for 3 shows only on Sunday 29 November, Sunday 6 & Sunday 13 December, 2020.
