The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Javeenbah Theatre Company’s production of The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is one of the hottest ticket in town.

The talented cast includes Flynn Anderson as Chip Tolentino, Sebastian Angliss-Li as William Barfee, Nicola Barrett as Logainne Schwartzandgrubbeniere, Chelsea Burton as Olive Ostrovsky, Nadine Chia as Marcy Park, Nic Van Litsenborgh as Leaf Coneybear with Sally Wood, Cameron Sarasola, Bradley Chapman, Micheal Ware and Olivia Chilvers French.

The cast’s interaction with the audience is encouraged (with several additional contestants randomly selected at each performance) which adds to the comedy of the production and Chip’s serenade about his unfortunate erection is a “stand alone” moment!

Under Bradley Chapman’s direction, with the small on-stage band lead by Christine Leah, choreography by Erin Brummage and simple, yet effective set Spelling Bee is one show not to be missed!

Javeenbah won the Platinum Palm Award last year for its contribution to Community Theatre on the Coast and their playbill, including shows like this, is the reason why!
