Bettylou Rose: Good Clean Fun

Bettylou Rose: Good Clean Fun is a fun cabaret featuring Cicely Binford, telling the story of Texan songbird, Bettylou Rose, finding her way on her own after a series of failed relationships.

The title comes from Bettylou's teenage experience working in her Uncle's laundromat.

A capable performer, Cicely held the intimate audience throughout the hour long performance, with some intriguing anecdotes and a solid vocal performance - her country songs being particularly well performed and having most impact.

While the show didn't always flow seamlessly and didn't feel hugely polished, it was a natural, well-acted performance that kept the audience entertained. Bettylou was very well supported by the Banditos, a three-piece band.

I look forward to further adventures of Bettylou Rose.
