Children Are Stinky

Children Are Stinky
Fringe World. De Parel Spiegeltent, The Pleasure Garden, Russell Square, Northbridge, WA. Feb 3-11, 2018

Children Are Stinkyis a “highly factual” show which sets out to prove that children are scared, lazy, have no co-ordination, are bad spellers, have no imagination and are most of all - stinky!

Kylie and Jason use a variety of high energy circus tricks, impressive acrobatics, hectic hula-hooping and a heap of audience participation to prove once and for all that children are stinky. Lots of bottom and fart jokes and a lovely self deprecating energy kept a capacity audience on the edge of (and even off) their seats and they cheered and yelled through a one hour show.

Performers April Dawson and Kyle Raftery are an absolute delight and have their pint sized punters in the palm of their hand (and in fact half the fun for the grown-ups is watching the joy of the little people as they watch the show). The circus skills are solid and the storyline great fun.

Of course, in the end Kylie and Jason discover that “Children are awesome”. Kids are awesome and so is this show.
