Siblings is a namesake dynamic musical storytelling show by Mikelangelo and Anushka. It is an original composition of fun loving vignettes of their early years together.

With a rock star persona, Mikelangelo, who travels extensively with his band the Black Sea Gentleman, has joined hands with Anushka, a cabaret performer in her own right to convey sweet and twisted life stories.  “Art of Consumption” is a boisterous and zesty song, sung with hearty passion. Mikelangelo tells the story of his overstuffed family fridge and his love of food. His tales of his diasporic parents and their one suitcase, determined to keep their family overfed and happy in their new homeland are strikingly vivid.

Anushka is the perennial queen fairy when copulating, procreating, in reflective childhood frolics of dandelion seeds, bees nectar, butterfly wings always whilst  dancing in the sunny haze. A song bird chanteuse with a quirky ability to chirp her magical charm into your soul.

Blood is definitely thicker than water with these two. Accompanied by the wonderful Dave Evans on accordion and piano, gorgeous and eccentric, this show will shock, disturb, enlighten your senses and carry you through to another dimension.
