You Stupid or What?!

Dr Jason Leong seems a very unlikely comedian given his title. In fact, Jason is an MD and his medical knowledge forms an important part of his highly amusing material. Jason has a vast array of issues and frustrations that provide ample opportunity for him to reflect on the absurdities of many of our daily activities and attitudes.

His material involves a hilarious comparison between the pain women experience giving birth and the pain men experience when kicked in the groin. Jason uses explicit medical knowledge to make it clear that there is no comparison and dispels the ludicrous myth, which often circulates online, they can be considered equally painful. He does this with disarming biological precision and the result is hysterical.

Jason is clearly annoyed by various aspects of society. His description of the three types of business class travellers who like to post images of themselves enjoying their privileges is as entertaining as it is accurate. His jokes are scathing of people’s increasing need to use social media merely to show off and make family and friends jealous. 

Jason’s material is also a good vehicle for exposing the foolish ways racism is expressed and his material provides an interesting insight into some of the petty rivalry between Malaysian, Singaporean and Chinese cultures. Jason delivers some great sharp-witted humour from a very different viewpoint.
