Abridged Biblical Romp for Castle Hill

Abridged Biblical Romp for Castle Hill

Next up at Castle Hill (NSW) in the Pavilion Theatre’s Adventures in the Foyer series comes a riotous, tongue-in-cheek romp through the good book - The Bible: The Complete Work of God (Abridged) by Adam Long, Reed Martin & Austin Tichenor.

These madcap playwrights, who brought us the hugely popular entire works of Shakespeare in a single evening, this time turn their attention to the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, nothing escapes their witty observations – and this begets a laughter-filled show full of floods and arks and wise men and ducks. And, because it’s a foyer show, wine and snacks are available for purchase to be enjoyed during the performance.

‘It’s a madcap night of theatre,’ says director Annette van Roden. ‘Fullof witty wordplay, physical humour and catchy tunes, this is probably the most exuberant production I’ve ever directed.’

The Complete Work of God (Abridged) opens on Friday March 7th and runs until Saturday March 22nd. Performance times
are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8.15 pm, Sunday at 4.30 pm with a Saturday matinee at 3 pm. Tickets are $26.00, $25.00 concession, and are available from the box office on 9634 2929 or online at www.paviliontheatre.org.au.

The Pavilion Theatre is located on Castle Hill Showground. Entrance is via the new roadway off Showground Road, at the traffic lights between Carrington and Gilbert Roads, Castle Hill. Follow the ring road around the showground and it will take you to the theatre door.

Castle Hill Players present The Bible: The Complete Work of God (Abridged) at The Pavilion Theatre from March 7 – 22.
