Spanx In the City

Emma Krause just might be Perth’s funniest comedian, and a sold-out house at the Balmoral Hotel would seem to agree with that thought, with constant laughter throughout this hour-long show.
Emma is a woman of a certain age, and talks about things that interest her, including teenagers, the effort to get anywhere, female friendships and menopause, and her likeminded audience relate well, laughing and nodding, sometimes to the point of tears. Drawing on her experience as a Primary School teacher, she has created some very special big books to read to her audience, and these are particularly clever.
Emma has a distinctly female appeal with over 98% of her audience being women (at best guess…I was counting). Unfortunately, this means she will probably never get to be on TV (as a comedian - you can catch her being funny on ads quite often). This means you need to rush out and see this show now. Future venues include Inglewood Hotel, The Wembley Hotel and Mahogany Inn and Distillery, and this would be a great social outing for groups of friends, or to take your Mum, Bestie or sister. We shared the audience with a large group of Red Hat Ladies who had a ball.
Fabulous entertainment for women of any age, Spanx in the City is clever land hilarious.
