Sunset Boulevard for Limelight in Perth.

Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Sunset Boulevard, based on the famed 1950 film, plays at Limelight Theatre, Wanneroo (WA) from November 22 to December 8.

Often described as one of the greatest films of American cinema, Sunset Boulevard was adapted into a stage musical in 1993 and scored eight Tony Awards in 1995.

The story follows Norma Desmond, a faded star of the silent screen era, living in the past in her decaying mansion on the Los Angeles’ fabled Sunset Boulevard.

Nomuinations for the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Awards for 2012 have been announced. Winners will be announced at the 26th Annual Awards Night, to be held at Costa Hall, Geelong on December 8 at 8pm.

Female Jesus for Manly Godspell.

Manly Musical Society (NSW) presents Godspell at the Manly Black Box Theatre @ Manly Selective from November 16 to 24 2012.

Director Ella Arundel has been involved in every Manly Musical Society production since the company’s inception in 2008, across a range of activities including performing in a number of shows, Make-up design, costuming, sound tech and assisting the director. Now she is directing the company's production of Godspell.
