Tony Nominees Cabaret Style at Mosman

Ten, a cabaret style evening of entertainment featuring music from shows nominated for Broadway’s Tony Awards in the last ten years, plays at the Mosman Art Gallery for four performances only from June 21. Produced by Mosman Musical Society, Ten features numbers from hits such as Wicked, Legally Blonde & Spamalot, and relatively lesser known musicals in Australia including Book of Mormon, Grey Gardens, Catch Me If You Can, Kinky Boots and Xanadu.

The inspiration for Ten was to perform some of the songs from the exciting recent Broadway musicals in a more relaxed cabaret setting.  Some of these musicals have not, and may not, ever make it onto a Sydney stage.  The production features a 5-piece band and solo, duet and group performances.

Ticket prices ($35) include drink on arrival, cheese plate per table (of 4 or 5), BYO alcohol and two hours of great entertainment.  Single, non-table, seats are also available at $25 (still BYO but without cheese plate).

Directed by Anthony Young with musical direction by Melinda Hole.
