Bell Shakespeare Announces the cast of Mackenzie

Bell Shakespeare today (February 4) announced the cast for the upcoming world premiere of Mackenzie, a new play by Yve Blake, including five original songs. The production will open in Sydney at The Neilson Nutshell from 6 June – 18 July, before touring to Arts Centre Melbourne from 23 July – 9 August.

2025 Sydney Theatre Awards Winners

The winners of the 2025 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced tonight (Monday January 19, 2026) at a star-studded ceremony. Twenty-nine Awards were presented, shared between 19 productions which played on Sydney stages during 2025. Almost 500 members of the Sydney theatre community gathered at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre to celebrate.
