Sydney Festival marks its 50th anniversary in January 2026 with a diverse city-wide program that honours five decades of cultural transformation and looks ahead to the next generation of artistic innovation. Broadway Star Andy Karl to Head Beetlejuice Cast in Brisbane

Australian theatre fans have chanted “Beetlejuice” three times and the most mischievous ghost in the history of musicals has responded.

Michael Cassel Group, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Langley Park Productions have announced that the eight-time Tony Award-nominated musical Beetlejuice The Musical will return to Australia in June 2026, following an international tour.

Saturday Night Fever Hits Melbourne in January 2026

This marks the return of Drew Anthony to Melbourne's stages after nearly two decades. This reimagined version of the show will have audiences grabbing their boogie shoes and dancing in the aisles.

Pride And Prejudice* (*sort of) Musical Comedy To Tour In 2026

Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) is heading Down Under. The 2026 Australian tour will play at Melbourne’s Atheneum Theatre from 18 June, Sydney Opera House from 16 July, IPAC Wollongong from 2 September, Canberra Theatre Centre from 16 September and QPAC, Brisbane from 30 September.
