Impromptunes - The Completely Improvised Musical

Impromptunes - The Completely Improvised Musical
Fringe World. The Gold Digger at Fringe Central, Perth WA. Jan 27 - Feb 4, 2018

If you have ever wanted to see Impromptunes - The Completely Improvised Musical, but have been unable to get a ticket, this year may be your chance. This very popular Fringe World show is playing at The Gold Digger, a great venue, with stadium seating, which means you are close to the action, with a great view.

Impromptunes presents a completely new musical, performed for the first (and last) time at each performance, Chosen from an audience suggestion, the team (the line-up varies) creates a full musical with harmonies, part singing and a convoluted story-line before your eyes (and ears).

After performing ‘Armageddon’ at the opening performance (the suggestion having come from a small child), the title at Fringe World’s second show was “Do I Smell of Burgers?” This musical, set in the Jazz underworld, included a mother who died from Jazzercise, mysterious strangers, confused identities and fabulous floor burgers. Outstanding performances from Amberly Cull, Emmet Nichols, Morgan Phillips, Isabella Valette, Paul Batey and Brenton Gardiner.

Musician Robert Woods provides perfect tunes, working expertly to create an amazing score.

Clever, impressive and hilariously funny, Impromptunes is the best Fringe World choice for multiple visits. A must see for fans of Improvisation, lovers of musicals and those who like comedy.
