Barry Humphries: The Man Behind the Mask

Celebrated Australian performer Barry Humphries AO, CBE will take Australian audiences on a revelatory trip through his colourful life and theatrical career when he tours Australia in May 2018 with Barry Humphries: The Man Behind the Mask.

In an intimate, confessional evening – seasoned with highly personal, sometimes startling, and occasionally outrageous stories – Humphries will be peeling off his mask to introduce the man behind the clown.

Bachelor Gal

New one woman comedic cabaret Bachelor Gal premieres on November 17 & 18 at the Seymour Centre, Chippendale.

Written by ‘Bartie’ award-winning playwright Adam Szudrich, directed and composed by Philip John, and starring Leanne Smith,Bachelor Gal is a fusion of theatre, musical and cabaret, taking you on a hilarious and heartbreaking journey with a one-of-a-kind gal.

Adelaide Festival 2018

The 2018 Adelaide Festival promises a program rich with Australian and international voices, bold new visions and contemporary theatre classics, as Joint Artistic Directors Neil Armfield AO and Rachel Healy return to the helm for their second Adelaide Festival in 2018.

The Adelaide Festival Board has also announced that it has extended the contract of the Joint Artistic Directors for a further two festivals, with their tenure culminating in 2021.

Beautiful Announces National Dates for 2018

Following its Australian premiere in Sydney, the producers have confirmed that Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will travel to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide in 2018. It will begin performances at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre on 16 February, and play Brisbane’s Lyric Theatre, QPAC from July 2018 and Adelaide’s Festival Theatre from December 2018.

Australia's New Jersey Boys Announced.

The four leading men cast by Broadway director Des McAnuff to play Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in the hit musical Jersey Boys have been announced.

After auditioning 450 artists nationwide, the cast is a combination of exciting and emerging Australian talent.  They will star in the keenly-anticipated season of Jersey Boys, which opens at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre in September 2018.
