Beauty and the Beast Promises To Enchant Chatswood
Willoughby Theatre Company (WTC) will present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at The Concourse Theatre in Chatswood from April 11 to 26, 2026, for a strictly limited season.
One of the world’s most beloved musicals, Beauty and the Beast has captivated audiences across generations with its timeless story, unforgettable characters and spectacular theatrical magic. This production invites audiences inside the castle walls, where love, transformation and the power of kindness take centre stage.
The show brings together a talented cast of local performers and a dedicated creative team to deliver a production filled with heart, scale and imagination, which promises to be a highlight of the April school holidays.

Taking on the iconic Disney princess role of Belle is Molly Owen, who brings warmth, intelligence and spirit to this much-loved character. “Belle is a character who has always inspired me,” says Owen. “She’s curious, courageous and leads with kindness. Being part of a story that was one of my very first theatre experiences, and now stepping into this role, feels incredibly special. I hope this production inspires the next generation of young performers in the same way it inspired me.”
