Cast Announced For Phar Lap Musical

Hayes Theatre Co has announced the casting for the upcoming World Premiere of Phar Lap: The Electro-Swing Musical, with book, music and lyrics by Steven Kramer and directed by Sheridan Harbridge. This brand-new Australian musical comes to Hayes Theatre Co from 17 October, and due to huge demand an extra final week of performances has been added. Ensemble Theatre 2026 Season

Ensemble Theatre has announced its 2026 season, featuring fresh Australian voices, the international plays and new and returning Ensemble faces across 10 plays and one special event.

Georgina Hopson to Star in Anastasia

Producers have today confirmed that Georgina Hopson (Titanique, Phantom of the Opera) will lead the cast of ANASTASIA, which will have its Australian premiere at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne in December 2025 before touring to Perth and Sydney in 2026. 

Michelle Brasier and Tim Omaji Join Pretty Woman Cast

Michelle Brasier and Tim Omaji will be joining Samantha Jade and Ben Hall in the cast of the upcoming Broadway and West End musical PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, which makes its debut at QPAC Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) in Brisbane in October before debuting at Theatre Royal Sydney from November.

Julie Andrews’ Production of My Fair Lady Returns to Sydney to Celebrate the Musical’s 70th Anniversary

Celebrating 70 years since its debut, Lerner and Loewe’s iconic My Fair Lady returns to the Sydney Opera House guided by musical theatre and Hollywood royalty Julie Andrews and co-directed by Karen Johnson Mortimer from September 2026.

The Phantom Returns to Sydney Harbour

Opera Australia has announced the return season of The Phantom of the Opera, to the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour stage in 2026, kicking off the show’s global 40th anniversary celebrations.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera has played to more than 160 million people in 205 cities across 58 territories, and in 21 languages.
