In his debut program as Artistic Director, Australian comedian, singer, and writer Reuben Kaye presents the 2026 Adelaide Cabaret Festival showcasing 79 performances over 12 nights, featuring local, national and international artists from United Kingdom, USA and Cuba, kicking off with the decadent 2026 Variety Gala on Thursday 4 June at Festival Theatre, hosted by Kaye.
This July, the theatre at fortyfivedownstairs will be overgrown by Grey Gardens as Australian music theatre stars Helen Dallimore (Wicked, Legally Blonde) and Deidre Rubenstein (My Fair Lady and Shakespeare in Love) transform into the legendary mother daughter duo, Big and Little Edith (Edie) Bouvier Beale.

The 2026 Performing Arts WA Awards Ceremony, held on Monday 20 April in the Heath Ledger Theatre, celebrated achievement in Western Australian professional live performance in 2025, covering both mainstage and independent performances.
The cast for the 2026 Australian tour of the musical comedy Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) has been announced. The five performers who will portray the roles of Elizabeth Bennet, Mr Darcy, Jane Bennet, Charles Bingley, Mr and Mrs Bennet and all other characters, will be Amy Lehpamer, Zoe Ioannou, Kaori Maeda-Judge, Ruby Shannon and Teo Vergara.
