FRANKENSTEIN: MONSTER TREADS THE BOARDS

There have been over 100 stage adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, but the latest from the National Theatre in London is different in that it gives the monster a voice. David Spicer previews the adaptation about to take to the stage in Sydney before touring to 26 venues across Australia.

GREASE Cast Announced

At Sydney's Hard Rock Cafe today (March 24, 2013) Producer John Frost  revealed the cast and tour dates for his new multi-million dollar production of GREASE, which opens in Brisbane on August 31.

NEON Festival of Independent Theatre

Melbourne Theatre Company’s Artistic Director Brett Sheehy today (March 18, 2013) launched the program for NEON – MTC’s Festival of Independent Theatre, celebrating Melbourne’s independent arts community.

NEON features original works from Daniel Schlusser Ensemble, Fraught Outfit, The Hayloft Project, THE RABBLE and Sisters Grimm, each for a ten-day season, as part of this inaugural festival in the Lawler at Southbank Theatre between May and July 2013.
