The Theatre Royal is one of Sydney's premier commercial theatre venues based in the heart of the Sydney CBD. It houses 1,183 patrons and has played host to a wide range of theatrical entertainment which includes the mega-musicals 'Jersey Boys', 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Cats' and 'Les Miserables'. The Phantom of the Opera remains the longest running show in Australian theatre history having played at the Theatre Royal for over 3 years.
