The North Queensland Opera and Music Theatre Group Inc. (NQOMT) is an award winning, vibrant and enthusiastic not-for-profit organization which welcomes people from all walks of life to enjoy our passion for music and theatre. Originally founded in 1980, we have proudly enjoyed a 35 year history of pre-eminent musical theatre in Townsville, North Queensland staging two full-scale musicals and a New Years Eve variety spectacular each year.
