Dean Carey is a world-renowned acting teacher and director. He was Head of Acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) from 1990–3, Associate Head of Acting at NIDA and a tutor there for eleven years. Carey has taught acting around Australia and internationally. He is the Director of the Actors Centre in Sydney.
