All Star Circus

All Star Circus
Head First Acrobats and Fringe World. De Parel Spiegeltent, The Pleasure Garden, Northbridge, WA. Jan 24-Feb 14, 2026

While we are spoilt for choice with circus shows during Fringe World, All Star Circus is a great choice for family viewing. Playing in the olde world grandeur of De Parel Spiegeltent, with its circus tent ceiling, the setting blends intimacy with tradition, and the show puts a plethora of acts into the one-hour show.

Co-compered by Cal Harris and Thomas Gorham (whose audience warmup is a delight), both comperes have fantastic acts of their own, with Thomas a superb breakdancer with off-the-wall stunts, and Cal giving us trapeze and balance.

While I couldn’t catch the names of all of the performers, Jessica Robbins thrilled the audience as an aerialist, while Chelsea Angel’s hoop act was quite unique and had great panache. The show includes more aerial work and juggling.

A little bit of audience interaction, and some beautifully timed comedy, adds to this show’s appeal. Not just for the kids, a few jokes were deliberately pitched at the adults and landed well.

The young audience were absolutely enamoured and this pacy show passes in a blink or two. Good old fashioned and fun entertainment, with just enough danger to keep kids on the edge of their seat.
