Mel McGlensey is Normal
If you are planning a night out at FringeWorld, a fabulous way to end your evening is with Mel McGlensey is Normal, a perfect dessert of a show, in which self-described "alternative comedian” desires to prove themselves normal.
Trapped inside a simulation “Nor Mel” Mel needs to prove herself normal to speak at a gala, and the audience need to help. Yes, there is audience participation, but never without your consent.
Following a multiple-choice program, where each “test of normalcy” is chosen by the audience (If you’re lucky you may get an insight into the tech created by Mel’s partner Douglas Wilson), Mel performs a series of (this will never actually pass for) “normal” activities. The bonus is that if you choose to see this twice, you are guaranteed not to see the same show.
Mel also gets to know each audience, with (inoffensive) jokes landing back on individual audience members,
This isn’t for everyone, there are sexual references, and golfers, British people and those who like gender reveal parties might be offended. There may also be "partial partial" nudity.
Most people will find this naughty little normal show great fun. At 9pm fabulous way to end or even kick off an evening.
