Shut Your Eyes & Think of England

If you did as the title suggested you would have missed a very funny performance!
Dealing with a financial dilemma that could ruin all concerned, this hysterical romp was fast and furious. Containing all the ingredients of a good farce, the show, directed by Dorothy Henderson, and portrayed by a very talented cast, was full of double entendre and mixed identities along with compromising situations.
The current world financial problems were forgotten as David Edwards (the meek and mild accountant caught in the middle of illicit affairs, international millionaires and the company’s audit) led the cast of Robert Fallon, Amanda-Lee Weatherby, Gillian Crow, Terry Callaghan, Alex Gorshenin, Janet Thwaites, Jay Ahrens and Suart Brennan through the maze at breakneck speed and the audience loved it.
The set (a stylish, well appointed penthouse on the top floor of the Finance Company’s London Headquarters) handled the comings and goings and going’s on with ease and the technical side of the show flowed smoothly.
Another great night in Community Theatre!
