Producer Cameron Mackintosh this week announced that the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera is 'permanently shut' ending the 34-year-run for the blockbuster musical.

World Premiere of Boy Swallows Universe Postponed

While Queensland Theatre and Brisbane Festival remain committed to developing the brand-new Australian theatre work, Boy Swallows Universe, in association with Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), they have announced that they are unable to present this new work in 2020, as initially programmed.

Boy Swallows Universe will instead make its world premiere during Brisbane Festival 2021.
