Rocky Horror for Canberra

The 50th Anniversary production of Rock ‘N’ Roll musical The Rocky Horror Show has added Canberra to its national tour. Playing at the Canberra Theatre Centre for a limited season from 29 September 2023, The Rocky Horror Show has been playing at Theatre Royal Sydney, and will play seasons in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.

Australian Musical Theatre Festival, Launceston, May 2023

Australian Musical Theatre Festival Artistic Director Tyran Parke has announced the line-up for the fourth Australian Musical Theatre Festival that he has curated.  The 2023 Festival will be held in various locations around Launceston from 17 – 21 May.  Since its inception, the festival headliners have included music theatre royalty such as Rob Mills, Jemma Rix, Paulini, Philip Quast, Simon Gleeson and Callum Francis. This year, the stars heading to Tasmania are Rachael Beck, Todd McKenney and Elenoa Rokobaro.

An all-star cast featuring Peter Carroll, Vanessa Downing, John Gaden, Philip Quast and Brigid Zengeni will bring to life the mainstage debut of Patricia Cornelius’ Do Not Go Gentle directed by STC’s Paige Rattray (Death of a Salesman, Triple X) at Roslyn Packe
