Hey fans of Stranger Things! Get ready to flip your flicks and turn your world Upside Down as the cult TV phenomenon Stranger Things gets a gloriously camp makeover and brings 14 original songs and your favourite 80s characters to the stage for the Sydney premiere of the hit Off-Broadway musical Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical.

Winner of seven Broadway World awards including ‘BEST NEW MUSICAL’, Sydney audiences will be transported back in time to Hawkins 1983 for an electrifying theatrical treat with more hair spray and pop bangers than a year 10 formal.

Fresh from multiple award-winning extended runs off Broadway and internationally, Epiphany Arts is thrilled to bring this hilarious parody to the Off Broadway Hub at the Sydney Fringe Festival, promising big laughs, bigger hair, Eggo waffles, poor parenting and more 80s pop culture references than you can poke a stick at.

This is the Dungeons & Dragons geek fest you didn’t know you needed, complete with bowl cut bangs and supernatural sizzle, offering the ultimate fan experience that’s fast-paced, wickedly funny and jam packed with easter eggs.

So whether you’re a die-hard Stranger Things fan or just a lover of musical theatre, this show’s for you, starring an ensemble of Sydney’s rising young stars who combine vocal power and comic prowess to take the audience on a wild ride that is as much a loving tribute as it is a hilarious send up.

Things are about to get very strange…

So while you’re waiting for Season 5 to drop, grab your mates, get dressed up (why not?) and head down to the Off Broadway Hub at Eternity Playhouse to join Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Dustin and the whole Hawkins gang for a night of adventure, thrills, pubescent angst, heavy synth, convoluted love triangles, cheap effects and a dancing Demogorgon who promises to put the Thriller back into horror.

And maybe, just maybe…there’ll be justice for everyone’s favourite missing ginger - the legend that is Barb Holland!
