Australian Premiere of Lost Tennessee Williams Play

A TENNESSEE Williams play lost for 60 years will make its Australian premiere at the Last Drop Canning Vale, Western Australia during September 2020.

Phantom Closes in West End

Andrew Lloyd Webber has contradicted Cameron Mackintosh over the future of his hit musical The Phantom of the Opera insisting that it will re-open.

Producer Cameron Mackintosh this week announced that the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera is 'permanently shut' ending the 34-year-run for the blockbuster musical.

The musical closed in March with Australian Josh Piterman in the lead role.

$345 Million Plan to Restart and Rebuild Live Performance Industry

Live Performance Australia has developed a $345 million plan to help the live performance industry restart, rebuild and reopen for audiences following the shutdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The plan includes capital investment in performing arts companies and productions to help them restart, extending income support to businesses and individuals to retain jobs, and incentives to encourage Australians to return to live performance events.
