ENTECH 2026

The national roadshow for the audio-visual, lighting, and staging industry will this year feature new immersive demonstration experiences.

ENTECH 2026 will tour five cities across Australia and three across New Zealand from May, with significant venue upgrades introduced at key locations including Melbourne, Perth, Wellington, and Auckland.

Following feedback from exhibitors and visitors, ENTECH has upgraded its 2026 venues to deliver fully enclosed, controlled environments.

Unlike several previous shows where natural or ambient light limited demonstration potential, the 2026 program places a strong focus on venues that support high-impact audio and vision demonstrations—allowing technology to be experienced exactly as it was designed.

These venue improvements underpin the introduction of dedicated Audio and Vision Demo Zones, running throughout the day at every ENTECH stop in Australia and New Zealand.

In the past some sessions have run next to each other. ENTECH 2026 moves away from side-by-side comparisons in favour of structured, exhibitor-led demonstrations. Each participating brand is allocated a scheduled, standalone demo slot, enabling promotion ahead of the show and ensuring focused engagement with interested audiences.

Audio Demo Zone

Live sound technology continues to evolve rapidly, and the Audio Demo Zone (pictured above)  reflects that pace of change. Exhibitors will have dedicated live audio time to demonstrate system performance, design philosophy, and key features. Product specialists may support their presentation with a slide deck, with a small stage, projector, and screen provided.

Sensible SPL limits will apply to ensure impactful demonstrations while maintaining a comfortable environment across the wider trade floor.

Vision Demo Zones

ENTECH 2026 will also feature dedicated Vision Demo Zones (pictured above) , encompassing LED video walls, display screens, and lighting technologies. These zones are designed to showcase brightness, colour accuracy, contrast, resolution, motion, and creative effects in optimal conditions.

With all 2026 venues now fully enclosed and light-controlled, exhibitors can demonstrate visual performance without interference from daylight—whether presenting large-format LED walls, display technologies, or integrated lighting elements.

Vision exhibitors will present in the same structured, non-competitive format as audio, with timetabled demo slots and a presentation area alongside their equipment. Product specialists may also support their demonstrations with slide content, using the provided stage, projector, and screen.

Together, the upgraded venues and new Audio and Vision demo formats represent a significant evolution of the ENTECH experience—delivering clearer, fairer, and more immersive demonstrations for exhibitors, and a richer, more informative event for visitors.
