Thriller Farce for Castle Hill

Thriller Farce for Castle Hill

There is no better way to finish off the 2017 season of plays at The Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill than with a murder mystery thriller farce, Wanted – One Body!  which opens on Friday 17 November and runs until Saturday 9 December.

With all the elements of a great comedy thriller, Wanted One Body is set in an old mansion on a stormy night and the body count is growing.  Weird behaviour from strange staff members, mistaken identity of visitors to the house, a nervous young solicitor and a disastrous reading of the Will combine to create an hilarious play and great fun for audience and actors alike.

Director, Dave Went has created a production where the gags are coming thick and fast amidst the chaos and confusion surrounding the death and imminent funeral of the late, but not greatly lamented, Mr. Barraclough.

Why is Anne Beale terrified of the lady of the house who clearly has blackmail in mind?  What is the chauffeur doing rifling through Faith’s drawers?

Why didn’t Mabel take a peak through her fingers and who is going to stop that wretched dog from howling??

All will be revealed in the dramatic setting of the drawing room complete with secret panels, hiding places and an ancient suit of armour.
