Mother May We, Mel Ree’s debut solo show, plays at the SBW Stables Theatre from 28 September - 8 October 2022 as part of the Griffin Lookout program, celebrating the best of independent Sydney theatre. Big in the spoken word scene, Mel is the creative powerhouse and host of Revolution Renegade – a space for BIPOC Queer Excellence. A regular curated night for the community to gather, hold space, heal and nourish the soul.

Cast Announced for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Tim Lawson in association with Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group have announce the adult ensemble cast for the Melbourne and Sydney seasons of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performances commence 13 November at the Regent Theatre, Melbourne and 11 February at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney.

Teacher Saves Phantom and Wins Bride

Science teacher and amateur theatre ‘champion’ Lachlan O’Brien saved a performance of The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour by taking on a lead role during a medical emergency, then won the right to pop the big question on stage. David Spicer reports.
