Belvoir has announced the productions making up its 2020 season, with highlights including new works from established and emerging voices, an array of talent both on and off stage, and an all-new production from the award-winning team behind Counting and Cracking.

In 2020 Griffin Theatre Company celebrates the 50th birthday of the Stables Theatre and presents a Main Season of five plays featuring fresh new perspectives, heartbreak, adventure and life-affirming joy.

Jekyll & Hyde Cast Announced

A star-studded cast including some of Australia’s most celebrated Opera, Television, Film and Music Theatre performers will join Anthony Warlow and Jemma Rix in Jekyll & Hyde, to be staged in October in Melbourne and November in Sydney 2019, Concertworks announced today.

Opera Queensland Season 2020.

A new Australian opera cabaret, an Australian musical, a story of profound love and a visually dazzling classic are the centrepiece of Opera Queensland’s Season 2020.

The program is anchored by four main stage productions – Lorelei, Bran Nue Dae, Tristan und Isolde and Aida – complimented by a new Concert Series, a regional tour of 2019’s hit production of Tosca and an expanded education and community engagement.

Queensland Theatre Season 2020

Queensland Theatre has launched its Season 2020, the Company’s 50th season of stage stories and the final under the artistic directorship of Sam Strong. 

“Season 2020 confirms Queensland Theatre as the national home of new stories, with 50 percent of the season being world premieres,” said Strong.
